Everything around us shifts towards the virtual front every day.
The social media industry is growing exponentially, and it is essential to track this growth as soon as possible to maximize your benefit from it.
TikTok is one of the latest social media apps that took the world by storm across 155 countries in 75 languages.
Its 800 million monthly users are excellent news for marketers, who can use different metrics to promote their brand on the app.
They can build brand profiles on the app and create a name for themselves.
The TikTok Pro Account
A great way to track analytics on TikTok is by using a Pro Account.
A Pro account offers exclusive features (which the regular account does not have) such as checking your profile's traffic and monitor its engagement: followers, TikTok likes, and views.
By measuring audience and gaining performance insights, you can improve your content and make it more impactful.
Follow these steps to switch your account to a Pro account.
- Go to your profile and click the three dots in the upper right corner.
- Next, go to Manage my Account.
- Then click the option “Switch to Pro Account.”
- Then you can add some information like category and gender.
- They will also require number verification if you haven't set that beforehand.
Get Started on TikTok Analytics
As soon as you switch to the Pro account, you'll see the analytics' section.
You can access it by going to your profile and tapping on the three dots on the right corner.
Next, head to the Privacy and safety screen and choose Analytics.
Don't worry; you can also access your profile's analytics by clicking your profile picture, and if you're using TikTok from your desktop, you could also download this data from there.
Getting to view your analytics is just the start; the trickier part is understanding them to the core.
But don't worry; we have simplified these analytics for you as much as we could.
Profile views are not that difficult to understand.
The 'Overview' tab will show you a graph of people who have viewed your profile in the last 7-28 days.
Follower analytics show your profile’s growth patterns.
It will show how well your profile has done in a short 7 day period or a longer 28 days period.
If you want more 'juicy' details on your followers, you can open the “Followers” Tab and see their demographics.
You will also see which videos they watched on your profile and what songs they listened to.
Video Analytics is TikTok Analytics most extensive feature.
From the 'Content' tab, you'll be able to see all the trending videos in the past week.
You can get information about their traffic, playtime, comments, shares, demographics, and so much more.
TikTok Analytics is probably the BFF of any TikToker. With TikTok Analytics' help and focusing on metrics like playtime, shares, comments, traffic, etc., you can keep track of your profile's performance and ensure that it only gets better from there.
